ATTENTION:

To all the students, parents, and families of Sembach Martial Arts.

It saddens me deeply to have to announce that as of August 31st 2009, Sembach Martial Arts will have to close its doors. Sembach has had a long history from the air force base in Germany, to the Karate club in Edwardsville, all the way to Sembach Martial Arts on Main Street in Nanticoke where we have been ever since Master Yurkin took the chance of opening the doors back in 1981. It has seen many students and teachers, and each and every one of you we consider family. Due to financial burdens and personal life changes I am no longer able to continue to run the business. Master Sparks and the Mountain Top Matial Arts Center have been kind enough to extend an open heart and invitation for all of Sembach’s students and families to continue their training at their dojo. I myself will continue to teach up at Mountain Top Martial Arts Center which is our Hombu Dojo (Founders School) for both systems of Kumade Nobushi Kyokai and Fudoshin Kai. Closing the doors is a decision that I hoped I would never have to make. But I realized that the heart of Sembach isn’t found in a building, but inside of each and every student, teacher and family member. And the life lessons, martial teachings and the lasting friendships we have had throughout the many years. I apologize for the quickness in all of this and I hope for all of your understanding in this decision. You are all my family and friends. Each and every one of you IS Sembach Martial Arts.

Sincerely,

Master Joseph Duda

Owner/Head Instructor of Sembach Martial Arts
